As you probably already know, the NHL season started yesterday (Thursday) with a game in Helsinki between the Wild and the Hurricanes (Hurricanes won 4-3) and with a game in Pittsburg, where the Penguins lost to the Flyers 3-2, and also a game in Colorado, where reigning champs Blackhawks lost in OT to the Avalanche. We also had a sick goal by Eberle in the Oilers 4-0 win over the Flames.
I was fortunate enough to be able to watch all these games, and as always when you watch professional sports in the United States there will be commercial breaks. Since it was hockey I was watching, obviously there will be hockey related commercials on. NHL’s “questions will become answers” commercials are, in short, genius. I simply love them.
However, these commercial are good, but there is one hockey related commercial that will always be better than anything they can ever come up with. That’s right, I am about to present the best hockey related commercial ever made to you, and here it is:
This commercial is great. You can also tell Gretzky has had a short cameo appearance in Mighty Ducks because he seems way more natural than poor Mats. Sundin should be happy that he stuck to playing hockey and didn’t try to become an actor.
What do you think, is this the best hockey commercial, or do you have one that’s better?
